A possible timetable
A possible timetable
| 9:30am | Preparation | I decide how long I will spend at each session of prayer (30 minutes, 40 minutes, 50 minutes) , decide where I will pray, select an image if I want to use one to help me to pray, and make arrangements to be alone with God for this time. It may be helpful to have put away the phone and dealt with necessary messages beforehand. | ||||||
| 10:00 am | First period of prayer | Psalm 51 | ||||||
| 11:00 am | Break | Midmorning break, where I remain quiet and on my own, if possible. | ||||||
| 11:30 am | Second period of prayer | Psalm 91 | ||||||
| 12:30 pm | Lunch break | If possible, taking some time to do something restful like walking or listening to music. | ||||||
| 2:30 pm | Third period of prayer | Psalm 130 | ||||||
| 3.30 pm | Afternoon break | where I remain quiet, with my own thoughts. | ||||||
| 4:00 pm | Review of the Day | I take about ten minutes to review the Retreat | ||||||
Of course, this timetable can be changed to suit your situation. People who wish to do this retreat on three different occasions might take an Hour of Prayer on each day, for example, taking a few hours on different afternoons.
